Ski & Snowboard Rent
Is there anything more comfortable than having the SKI & SNOWBOARD RENT directly in the hotel that you are staying at? No. That is why hotel Pirin River Ski, Fun and Family is offering to its guests a great variety of models (including new models and racing skis) in three categories corresponding to your level of skiing in its own ski & snowboard rent directly in the hotel. Because we know that you came to Bansko to ski and snowboard. Making this as easy and carefree as possible for you is our top priority.
You can benefit from our amazing Early booking's promotion and use a 21% discount when you book ski or snowboard rent together with your reservation. This discount is valid only for the services booked together with your reservation and for as long as the Early Bookings promotion is valid, and cannot be applied additionally.
So how does it work? Really easy. You go to the ski rent, which is part of the hotel, in your shoes or slippers, in all cases it takes 1-3 minutes to get there from your apartment. To allow our guests to get to the slopes as early as possible and thus avoid potential queues in the busy periods, our ski rent is opened from 7:30, in the busiest periods even earlier. Your equipment is ready for you, all you need to do is put it on and take the three steps to the corner of the street, where our free shuttle bus is waiting for you. The driver – Ivan (or “Jinn” as some of our guests who have been visiting for years call him, because he appears like a “good jinn” with the bus as soon as you come back from gondola), takes your equipment and off you go for the 3-minute drive to the gondola. When coming back, our shuttle bus is waiting for you, Ivan helps you with your equipment and takes you back to the hotel, directly to the ski rent.
The price of the ski and snowboard rent includes as well:
· Storage of your shoes
· Adjustment of the rented equipment to suit your needs
· Anti-bacterial treatment of the ski and snowboards boots
· Drying of the ski and snowboard boots overnight
· Waxing of the skis or snowboard in accordance with the snow conditions and your preferences
· Servicing of the equipment (if needed)
· Any advice you might need regarding the equipment and its use
Our ski and snowboard equipment is divided into three categories:
BASIC equipment is 3 seasons old, but well serviced and in a very good condition. This equipment is suitable only for total beginners, until you master the basic moves and techniques. The price of the Basic equipment reflects that it is of older models and unless you are total beginner, we do not recommend to rent this type.
ADVANCED equipment is 1 or 2 seasons old equipment, mostly of the HEAD brand, with great variety of new models. We have also equipment of other brands in these category – ATOMIC, VÖLKL, FISHER, SALOMON, NORDICA, BURTON and BLIZZARD. The Advanced equipment is suitable for intermediate and advanced skiers.
PREMIUM equipment is brand new or 1 season old equipment of ROSSIGNOL, HEAD and FISHER brand for those who want to experience something new. New models including racing skis, these skis are suitable only for those who know what they are doing.
Your comfort and safety is the key issue for us and we will always do our best to help you choose the best equipment for your level. We are also very flexible, so if you want to change equipment, try new models or switch from skis to snowboard or vice-versa, this is not a problem for us, as long as we have availability. About availability – we definitely recommend booking the equipment in advance, together with your reservation, not only because of the discounts, but because every year we are usually quite booked for equipment. Also, since our reservation system allows for the measurements to be submitted before you arrive, we have everything ready for you when you do, so you do not waste any time from the skiing.
Please keep in mind that for your own safety and both your comfort and comfort of other guests of the hotel, it is forbidden to walk in ski boots in the hotel and to store equipment in the apartments, as carrying the equipment around often creates a lot of noise that can disrupt other guests. If you are bringing your own ski equipment, you can store it in our ski rent free of charge. If you are renting your ski equipment from other ski rent shop, you’ll need to keep it there. Unfortunately, and after a few messy mixed-ups, we came to the conclusion that we cannot take responsibility for equipment from other ski rents, as it is not our property. Also, because most of our guests are renting equipment from our ski rent, we do not dispose with additional space to store equipment rented from other ski rents.
